Speedy Brownies

Baking is the last thing you want to be doing when you have a toddler at home. But of late my sweet tooth has been pretty busy and I did want to brush up a little on my baking skills - which is actually very limited :). What do I bake? Well, need something that is quick, not too messy and satisfies the craving. So I shifted through some saved recipes that my mother had given and I found this quick brownie one, which requires mixing everything together at one go and bake it.

So if you ever find yourself in my shoes then this is for you...

Ingredients:
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • All purpose flour - 1 and 3/4 cups
  • Baking cocoa - 1/2 cup
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Eggs - 4
  • Canola oil - 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Semisweet chocolate chips - 1 cup
Method:
  1. Pre - heat oven to 350f/ 175 degrees C
  2. Leaving out the chocolate chips beat all the ingredients together and pour into a 13x9 inch greased pan.
  3. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top before placing the pan into the oven and bake for 30mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
I added a few drops of milk as I wanted my brownie a little moist.

And it's as simple as that! :)
